This is my Jaffa Roll Graph.  This graph shows what the measurements of our Jaffa Roll ramp.  For my group the concrete worked the best.

Interior Designer

Room 5 and Room 6 year 7's are trying to find out what they want to be for their career.  This is my DLO on interior designer.  As part of my career I am interested in the job interior designer.
An interior designer is all about colours and designing.

Alan Duff

This is a writing on Alan Duff, when he came to our school today and talked to the Yr 7 and 8's.

We had to create a DLO to tell others what happened today.  

We had a great time with him,  he told us about his book tour,  answered our questions and helped us on our careers.  We had a great time with Alan Duff, and  he persuaded us to read books.  He also told us that there is always time to open up a book and get hooked in it.

I created this DLO with Nesi and Linda.

Tamaki College Science 2015

This is my groups DLO on our project with Tamaki College.  This term the years 7 and 8 are working with Tamaki College.  We are working on Moon Rovers.  Last week we got a mystery box for each group and we had to use what we were given from the to make our rovers.  Our aim for this project is to build a 'rubber band powered rover' that can at least 3 meters scramble across the floor.

Working With My Critical Friend

This Morning, we had a chance to edit our writing sample with a critical friend from a different class.  I worked with Sajiha to complete this task.  For this week we decided to work on my sample as mine needed the most editing.  Sajiha had the Room 5 and Room 6's writing Rubric open while I had to make changes in my writing.  We commented on my sample to show what I had achieved and my next learning steps.  We also recorded answering 2 questions about our writing topic.  I think with answering the questions, we both had full answers and added a lot of detail to our answers.  We are looking forward to the next writing session with both classes.
