Our Homework.

This week our teacher Mrs Milward gave us a fun  homework. Our homework was that we had to create a google draw and write stuff about us in maths e.g my name has 3+3 letters in.

Recount Writing

Nana and Poppa lived in the countryside. Nana disliked living in the countryside, so she headed over to visit us in the city. Later, she didn’t want to return home after she came to our house. Poppa had to go home alone, and fetch her the next day. Poppa chatted to mum and they decided to let nana stay with us in the city. I just couldn't wait for them to move in with us. Soon enough they sold their old house in countryside and came to live with us. It took very long to settle in, but it was worth it. I was really glad that they came to live with us.

This is my Recount Writing that I done with my group. Our teacher gave us a little recount that we had to make interesting.

Identity survey

This is my Identity Survey that we done with Ms Paton.

We had to write down questions in Google Forms and we had to share it to people in our class and they had to answer the questions.   All the questions were about where they were born in, what language they speak and all other stuff.

I enjoyed it because I thought it would be really interesting to know a bit of information about people in my class.

Onomatopoeia Recount Writing

‘Bang’ I was only 8 years old at my new house when I fell down out of my bed after a horrible nightmare. I got up from the floor and went to bed rubbing my head when my mum came into my room.

When my mum heard the bang she came and woke me up and I told her I had a headache she said that I bumped my head. She went out of my room into the kitchen and brought me an ice bag and the ice bag was freezing cold. Then I went to bed again.

In the morning when I got up I had a bump in my head and the worst thing about the bump was when I touched it it got worse.

Then my mum told me not to touch it and I didn’t touched the bump and after a couple of days it got better and and finally it was gone.

It was so annoying having a huge bump in my head because it hurt a lot and it was a huge bump.
In our classroom we had to write about something when we were little, and we had to write it by using onomatopoeia. We had to use onomatopoeia so we can hook our reader in our writing.

              Sri Lanka had 10 runners and 46.1 rounders.
              New zealand's score was 331 and Sri Lanka's score was 233.
