Photo collage Term 1

This is another collage that I did but this one has more effects to it.
I thinks this one looks cooler because this one has more effects to it.

Term 1

Term 1 .

This term I enjoyed having mrs Paton come to our class and teach us new stuff we could do on the computers and I enjoyed going to the waka, doing the art work about our family, doing our name reflection art and having Shavaun to our school.

I learned how to use onomatopoeia words in my writing.
Onomatopoeia are word that goes in the start of a recount or writing e.g BANG, CRUSH.

Next term my goal is to improve more on my learning by practicing at home or on my own time.

Spelling Test

This is my test that we ddid online.  We had to practice and then we got time to do our spelling test.
The word that I found hard to spell was productivity because the computer kept on saying croductivity.  The word that I found easy was faith.

The People from Hawaii  also sang songs and they gave a speech to us in Hawaiian and at the end we got to shake hands or hi five them.

Ancester Poem Thumb Print

Our teacher had a great idea and her idea was that she printed out our thumb print and she made it big                                         enough so we could write in them.
Our teacher made a google doc for us to fill in all the answer and after we did that we had to get our thumb print and write all the answers in and the questions were all about our family or culture.

A visit from Shavaugha Roimata from Shortland Street.

Today we had a whole school Duffy assembly, we had a special visitor and her name was Shavaughn Roimata, and she used to work in Shortland Street and what now.
Her message to us was to read books because they take you somewhere in life and she said that she read books when she was little and by reading books she wanted to be an actor so she got a job at Shortland Street.
She was funny because Gozan and Brianna had a quiz but Shavaughn couldn't say Gozan but instead she said Guzan.

Mahdia- Hamid Karzai

Our learning intention today was to get facts about a famous or popular person from our country.
I chose Hamid Karzai because he is a important person in Afghanistan.
His job is to be the president of afghanistan and keep the Talibs away from Afghanistan
[Talib the people trying to kill the afghanis]

Mahdia Spelling Test

Today we did a spelling test in our class.
We had to take a screenshot of our spelling test and we also had to put it on our blog.
It was hard to hear what the computer was saying because there was other people in my class that
were doing it as well so it was so noisy.
